The holidays are coming, and the end of the year is approaching so we would like to update you on some of our recent activities.
2015 was an amazing year for Acceleratio and our team members. Over these last few months, we’ve worked hard and learned quite a bit through various conferences, workshops, and lectures – and of course we had fun along the way. Besides our usual team-building activities, we dedicated some time to getting educated , and we would like to tell you all about it!
We started this year pretty hungry for knowledge so we’ve been to the Agile Adria conference, then to SharePoint Evolution in London. As if that wasn’t enough, we headed to WinDays 2015 too!
Lots of things happened so we would like to start off with the Professional Scrum Master Training in Barcelona. Congratulations are in order for our dear Acceleratio team buddies Andrea and Mario, as they’ve perfected their Scrum process framework.
Our adventures continued over the summer as Frane visited the E2EVC Virtualization Conference in Berlin. This conference is known for its panels on servers, applications, desktops, and storage virtualization, with products from vendors like Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix.
Autumn came quickly, but we didn’t retire our “Carpe Diem” motto!
October was our busiest and most exciting month so far. We enjoyed a bit of Germany and attended SPS event in Munich. Then came the Netherlands’ Premier SharePoint & Office 365 conference, which we went to – well, Hrvoje and Goran did. In the middle of October, they visited Unity Connect Amsterdam.
On the 20th of October Ivan, Mauro, David, Vlado and Marijana headed to the 10th annual Ekobit DevArena conference to discuss the development of software and various new technologies.
November rolled around and it was time for the biggest, most important conference of them all, the European SharePoint Conference in Stockholm. Here we learned about the newest innovations in SharePoint and Office 365 technologies.
After brainstorming about the European SharePoint Conference, we decided to visit The Advanced Technologies Days in Zagreb on the 18th and 19th of November. You know what they say, no rest for the wicked! So our wicked duo, Matija and Toni, headed to the 11th annual Microsoft conference, where Matija was in the spotlight delivering two presentations.
The marketing department had its own fun in Brno, Czech Republic, where Marina and Ivana spent three days enjoying the atmosphere at the Marketing Festival 2015. During those few days, they widened their knowledge of digital marketing attending various lectures and workshops.
After learning about the newest trends in the marketing sector in Brno, our team members David, Igor, Mauro, Hrvoje and Tomislav attended an SQL educational event in Ljubljana.
We’re so proud team members and what we’ve accomplished! Now; we’re impatiently awaiting the Christmas holidays and the start of 2016, which will hopefully mark a new chapter in this story – a bigger, better, and stronger Acceleratio.
